just book in advance. Anywhere else you could recommend, spider? Nymans NT Gardens are close to Leonardslee, not so dramatic but nice gardens. Sheffield Park near Hayward’s Heath. Bit further afield, in E Sussex there is Scotney and Great Dixter, all worth a trip Edited by Spiderman (10 Jul 2021 1.48pm)

Croydon now seem to be trying to raise money via car park charges. Had to use Central Car park to get Covid jab in the centre, under one hour £3.70. God its a horrible shopping centre, now I remember, why we never go into Croydon unless we have too. Use Bromley, in the Glades car park £1.10 for an hours, nice clean centre and the council cut the grass verges in the borough.

The carp park in Bromley (Glades?) next to the mass vaccination Centre is free for 2 hours if you are getting the COVID jab.
