Is my guess.

It cost £millions and 2 attempts to get our playing surface right. Perhaps the same investment in the training pitch?

Saints have 7 pitches to cover all the types of playing surface in this division.

There are 7 types of pitch in the prem? Well I never

Surely there are 20. Doesn't each ground have it's own idiosyncrasies?

It's a bit like Eskimos having about 100 different words for 'snow'.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Ah, jolly good show, glad we've sorted that out.

Hopefully our new man will bring his own backroom team to re-evaluate all aspects of fitness, nutrition and training.

Be interesting to see our injury stats in a year's time eh?

Meantime, all the best Nathan, oh, and you Ebere. Hope we see you back as soon as.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

A lot of surfaces are semi synthetic now which is why they last so well, but you do see a lot of players slipping on the surface.

I presume there are 7 different pitches in the PL because clubs use a slightly different hybrid surface.

That would be the most pointless and unfair thing to do.
Comparing a season where (hopefully) players have 1 match per week, with normal training in between, with a season (or 2 seasons already...) with stops in between, disrupted or individual training because of bubbles, 2 matches per week in order to catch up with the fixtures etc... makes no sense at all.
It is obvious there would be less injuries.

I think you're agreeing with me. Just saying that when things return to something like normal and a new team is in place, we should expect to see less injuries.

Many on here are suggesting we've been pushing players too hard leading to the high level of injuries we've seen.

It makes sense, older players need more recovery time but Roy preferred to keep the same team. I guess if we had a better squad some of them would have been rotated.

Then I must have misunderstood your post, I got that you were saying that bringing a new staff would see injuries decrease.
Sorry if I got it wrong.
