Not social distancing and the women arrested (only 4) were making speeches. You would do your nut if that was Tommy Robinson and his mates and the police stood by and did nothing. I understand the anger from the protestors my anger is directed not at them but at the politicians criticising the police. Those same people only complain about police tactics if they agree with the protestors otherwise they are the first to ask why did the police allow it.

For certain ideological publications these figures are pushing at an open door. Yet little digging, questioning and critical thinking is applied to whether the figures are objectively sourced. Instead the media pick up and repeat without questioning and most normies just accept them as fact. Personally I'm against the police powers that have been given over for this pandemic. So while I completely agree with points about the hypocrisy I just don't support the principle that the state get this much control.

This government is ideologically driven to push through as much opportunity for state enforced power as possible - many on here cry about eroded free speech but are willing to wave through (or at the best turn a blind eye), to the ongoing power snatch being carried out by the home office because it's seen as being done by their side of the political spectrum. It stems from a desire to stop dissenting voices and avoid all scrutiny and it's Johnson's MO... always has been. The attached is just one section of the many very troubling elements of the crime bill that's going to parliament this week. It's important to recognise who is implementing these curbs on our freedom and for what ends... I will add that it's pathetic that the best Labour can offer at the moment is to abstain on their vote.

A woman was murdered by a policeman and people were paying respects. There’s more outrage on here at people gathering for a vigil then outrage at what actually happened. This place is always full of horrendous takes on things but this might just be the worst yet.

Yes I didn’t believe this ‘Almost all women have experienced sexual harassment’ claim either. Causes a lot of issues claiming this. I find myself seeing the point of view of all sides on this subject. But it was only a matter of time until the office professionals and of course most virtuous felt like they were being unfairly treated. And if this was a lady somewhere up north it wouldn’t have been the big news story because they never are. It’s probably more risky out at night because of lockdown/restrictions. And the Labour Welsh first minister wants a 6pm curfew for men. Unfortunately one on one male on female crimes have been happening for ever, but gang rape and grooming like we’ve seen hasn’t. Well it almost completely hasn’t.
