I actually think it's just Potter being good and he could do it anywhere. It's not like Bissouma, Trossard, Maupay, March wtc were that talented and played like that somewhere else. Ok, we can say that Welbeck grew up in that great Arsenal team and knows such a game and that Lallana or Gross were some of the best passers in the league, but the others were regular nobodies who couldn't pass a ball befire Potter came. I think Brighton was shared with Newcastle at worst passing team in the PL.

I’m confused by you arguments , you say that he needed to spend £240m on players because the squad was rubbish when they came up , is Hughton a better manager then because he kept that squad up for two years with largely player that he has in the Championship. Now you say that he is good manager because he hs made Maupay, Trossard and Bissouma good players.
Just for reference while he was in charge they spent £20m on Maupay , you might remember he was the ‘M’ in the Brentford BMW between Benrahma and Watkins and probably the most hyped championship player in that transfer window. Trossard had played at Genk been tracked by Arsenal and been selected in the Belgium squad before signing for Brighton for £18m so hardly a rough diamond picked up on the Purley way who needed a bit of tuning. Bissouma they bought from Lille for £17m at 21 he played and played well under Hughton, in fact I think I’m even on here saying if they went down he would be one of players I would take. I like March as player and moving him to left wing back has improved him, he is a good technical player but to be fair if we signed I’m not going to get overly excited he is a bit like Jimmy Mac or a less dynamic Schlupp probably doesn’t get the credit at Brighton he deserves . He will have a good premier league career and be one of those players that will turn up at Burnley and you’ll think is he still going he is fairly useful for them. March was also consistently picked and again fairly useful under Hughton.
