Reward him with a free role and the whole team will blossom. Cool kid for sure! For him to flourish, Riedewald needs to be the DM sitting in front of the back 4 as tracking back with intent is not Eze’s strong point. This will as Wrighty put in on MOTD then ‘ give him the keys!’.

This was recognised at QPR perhaps 2 or 3 years ago. They recognised that his work off the ball needed to be improved and that they needed to add discipline and workrate to his game.

Personally think Roy getting this one right with Eze Townsend and Schlupp put a bit more work in regarding tracking back.

For my money Eze is a real talent and Roy must find a way of incorporating him in the Team. It's interesting in the Summer window Brentford wanted £30M for Benrahma, and we were allegedly interested. West Ham ended up getting him on loan. We signed Eze for £20M - look at the difference, Benrahma can hardly get into the West Ham side and when he has played - has done nothing..!! Meantime Eze has flourished, capped with what will be IMO one of the goals of the season yesterday. Think we may have dodged one with Benrahma..!! COYP

COYP I agree we dodged one with Benrahma, but I think we really lost out with Bowen. Going back to Eze, yes he needs to learn how to ‘up’ his defensive contributions, but they are not his strengths and we should not stifle his game such that his tricks and turns are restricted to escaping from our own half. He should definitely be playing further up the field.

As for Bowen. Shame we got gazzumped. He would have been good for us down the right and much cheaper than Sarr or Brooks!.

f***ing idiot photographed at the QPR game, supposedly cleared with the FA I don't know how the FA can decide who can over rule the laws of the land but I think that a hefty fine and suspension may be on the cards and possibly a good thing too as he's the second one in a week to flout the lockdown laws and it sets a bad example to the rest of the country

As someone who has stringently followed the Covid rules I am bitterly disappointed by the `I don't care, as long as I am alright` attitude of others. People in the public eye flaunting instead of supporting such rules promote a negative mindset to them to others. Having said that, there is a question here of who is responsible. Of course Eze should take responsibility, however the article says he was invited to the game by QPR. Eze could argue he has just been naive. Due to being invited he assumed it was OK. Not saying I support this but I'd imagine it will be his defence.

Sorry it’s time to make an example of these covidiots. It’s a shame it’s him but that’s the way it goes. Fine him 3 weeks wages and drop him for 3 games.
