In essence, its a complete lack of grip and failure by the PM. What amazes me is why anyone should be surprised. The worst Foreign Sec in living memory, an inability to get on top of detail, allowing his advisors to set the agenda and being, at best, cavalier with the truth. Add to that the chaos associated with his personal life, not knowing his own mind but simply doing things that he thinks would benefit him personally. Net net, in my view, he has a totally unsuitable temperament for the job of PM and, as each month/disaster goes by, it is becoming more and more evident. It will all likely end in tears and quite possibly in relative short order.
