I so want to see Newcastle go back down, 'cos they're such a BIG club (in their eyes) and it would really p*ss off Shearer.......win, win really.

I think Newcastle just about have enough about them to stay up. They battled hard against an inform Leicester side the other day. I don’t like Bruce but he knows how to make his side difficult to beat as we found out recently.

I am also of the opinion that Newcastle will survive.
I also envisage Brighton avoiding the dreaded drop.

Sheffield United are surely doomed. West Brom are also in deep trouble and even firefighter Sam may have bitten off more than he can chew this time. It would seem that it is just the 3rd drop spot that is open to question.

I'd like to think we are safe but we still have to keep picking up the points and we have some tough matches in the run in.

I still think Fulham are the most likely candidates for the drop.

I see the recently sacked WBA boss Bilic has gone off to China which is in my mind the equivalent of once popular singers and bands ending up on the cabaret circuit ( is there still one?)

We have a bad run of fixtures coming up. I can't see us getting many points from the next four games. I have us down for one point on the prediction league. Obviously we may get more, but in my wildest dreams it won't be more than three or four points from the next four.

We all know this is an unusual season for reasons that are well known and we have seen some extraordinary results.

There could be a great deal of 'Twists and turns' as the season progresses to the extent that what appears very feasible turns out to surprise one and all.

Speaking to my brother on a video call he looked askance when I suggested not to discount the possibility that we could plunge into the relegation zone and then lose our PL place.

Willo, could you please give us some warning or at least make sure we are all sitting down, before hitting us with such earth shattering and unexpected news.

We are lucky that two teams west brom and Sheff Utd are almost down but can still see us in the mix due to our up and coming fixtures.

I have a feeling that Leeds will have a very poor second half of the season

Looking at the fixtures you have to say February is going to be the most important month of our season. All winnable games. If we get on a bad run during the difficult January matches we have coming up then I just hope there would be enough left in the tank to get us back to winning ways in Feb.

I still think we will survive but don’t fancy us for higher than 14th or 15th this year.

The Blades are down, the Baggies will need to splash the cash to have any chance of staying up and I think the bottom half of the league could well end up exactly as it currently stands.
