You're asking me what it's all about, and I can't tell you because I don't know what's going on myself. |

I joined up ex RCT Driver. 23 Years served, great times to be had. Enjoy every minute. You can always find times funny even in the worse places, military humour is something that most don't quite get. I signed up in Penge, 1985 and would do it all again.......less the 3 wives😛. Good luck mate.
In my day, a Selfie was what you had when the wife didn't put out. |

Don't blame you for getting out of Dagenham. Lived here for 20 years and only have to wait about a month and I'm leaving this s*** pit of a town!!!! If you ever see someone walking around the Heathway with last season away shirt it probably me. Good luck on training to be a Para. The old joke of two things fall from the sky. Bird s*** and Paras, shame no one knows the difference.

Wouldn't want to see you get a red Tom... I like you and enjoy your posts so would be a shame to see you get a ban pal.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

Good luck fella, when I did Recruit selection at Pirbright 16 years ago eventually joining the Royal Armoured Corps I found the lads looking to join the Paras were (fitness wise) easily a level above the rest of us. Funnily enough I want to re-join the military in some capacity & had applied to join the Royal Wessex Yeomanry, I live abroad however my bro lives 20 minutes walk away from one of the Squadrons and I can commit pretty much all of summer/autumn to it, only thing that got in the way was Covid cocking everything up so I'll keep training over the winter and see what the situation is like in the spring.
