Perhaps potentially (I don't know) but perhaps not yet as advanced as the other two (and if you are talking about Eze as one of the two signings then Kirby will need to go some to match him). I do think, though, that Kirby might get some PL exposure once it is looking like we'll have a decent season. Really hope your right there Doombear - the 8 games with nothing riding on them at the end of last season would have been an ideal time to have a look at him. Think he’ll only get a look in if Roy has no other choice - but you never know!

I want to see more of Kirby. He looked quite accomplished in the two friendlies. I think he could be a bit of a player

It has been good to see the youngsters given some game time in the friendlies, but that is probably down to the fact that so many of our established players are injured. Had they not been, then we are unlikely to have seen as many youngsters as we have. The silver lining is that RH has seen the youngsters in a live game (albeit against lower league teams) and will have some idea of which of them may be ready not just for the bench but as viable substitutes.

I'm happy to have him, even with no option to buy, because he could help keep us from getting relegated. We don't have the luxury of buying players like this, so a loan is the next best thing. Same as Batshuyahi, who was a very good loan for us. However, what Roy does with him and Eze remains to be seen. I'm not a Meyer fan, but he was a player who arrived with a pretty good history, and Roy never gave him an extended opportunity. It was always a few minutes here and there. Meanwhile, Luka plays 90 minutes every match. And Sorloth, too. I don't care how bad people say the Turkish league is, Benteke would never score like Sorloth in that league. So not giving Sorloth a chance, while keeping Benteke, is a failure of Roy. And oh yeah, Camarasa? Roy is gaining a history of not getting any success out of younger, creative, offensive players.

We have no idea if loaning Sorloth was Roy's idea and / or decision. Similarly, we have no idea what the story was on Camarasa. Opinions are fine but no basis for criticising unless fact based.

I'm excited by his arrival but as a few of the posters above have suggested, am not sure of how Roy is going to fit him in. I actually think that him signing on loan (particularly from Chelsea) will almost guarantee him more playing time than if we'd bought him...

It means Roy will have to play him unlike most new players that he takes at least 6 months to accommodate.

From reading about him he does actually sound like Roy type player; works hard and not afraid of a tackle, with the energy to cover lots of ground. With Eze and now Gallagher our passing should be much better this coming season which should be a real opportunity for whomever starts up top. Does anyone know if Gallagher is good at set-pieces, as that is one area we were really poor last season.

Dont know about Gallagher but Eze was taking set pieces against Charlton, different variations too. Looks so accomplished. Really excited about this kid.

True, although a lot of them were lofted to the back post in a similar style to last season. I'd like to see us whip some in at pace. I agree though, he looks like he's going to be some player.
