Seems to me, when the s***e hits your fan, you only have a towel for yourself.....as that seating episode displayed. One out, all out.....now that's ethical. Edited by Stirlingsays (27 Feb 2020 5.46pm) I will re-state for the hard of thinking, as this is clearly a bee in your bonnet When the club wished to move the singing section I was totally clear that they should not forcibly move people that definitely wanted to stay put and were prepared to become an active part of the singing section. I did all I could to encourage anyone that wanted to stay put to do so but on the proviso that they sang and joined in with the singing section. Most couldn't face that and many would not have been able to do so. In the end maybe a dozen or so of us did stay in the section. It was through my efforts that the club had to change its mind as far as I can tell, I used some tricks I had up my sleeve. I happen to be in the front row in the middle, watch out for me. Wherever the singing section is based, my experience has shown that you can't have non-singers within it, they kill the atmosphere almost as successfully as a HOLer on downers. So I stayed put, I got to know my new neighbours and I do my bit. I thoroughly enjoy it. I have asked you many times to join me for the experience, it is sad that you don't. You would find it welcoming and fun, even when the team isn't helping us too much. And by the way, it is also a surprisingly mixed group with all sorts taking part. One day we shall look like this:

What amuses is that you think re-stating what you and a few did makes it sound alright. Like a bird complaining that she's being snogged but then just decides to go with it. It's all very plastic...the miners had a different term but I know how you hate labels so I won't insult you with it. Suffice to say when it comes to your allegiances and self interest....No one's going to be betting on the former.

OK, well if you find a good definition let me know. My sole contention is that the way Stirling has described it is based upon his rather sad take on life and not the reality for most people I meet. You made the accusation of not understanding the "modern identity of Britain". I merely asked you to explain it. You can't just make a statement and expect us all to agree. If you don't understand it, you have no grounds to accuse others.

Only to demonstrate Stirling’s disdain for it. But I don’t expect you all to agree, you never do. You just like to moan and complain almost every time you post. I only come on here when I’m just too happy and need to be numbed down by the steady drip of negativity, hatred of new stuff and dislike of younger generations.

You're just stereotyping us.....but hey I kind of like it. Still in truth no amount of presentation can make a s***e sandwich taste good. We don't hate new stuff, because it's new....it's because it's poo. As for disliking younger generations....plenty of young up and comers on the dissident right. All the edgy stuff is from us now.

Edited by Mapletree (27 Feb 2020 10.48pm) You don’t know what the modern identity of Britain is now or in the next decade. You don’t even know what it’ll be like this year or this week going by the turf war with metal baseball bats on Croydon streets. You can have croydon. s*** hole now. If more scum get control you won’t be welcome no matter how right on you are. I’ll just not get off the train there any more. No need and nothing missed. Good luck with it being dragged down to newer depths.

Saw this being reported on German TV today. Thankfully the perpetrator will be put away for the rest of their life. He's never given any motive for his actions and the only positive is that there were miraculously no fatalities.
