Fun topic. Let's break this down a bit to look at the core issues and root cause. 1) It's far more difficult than it should be to expel a pupil. Teachers have next to no power any more. Disruptive kids waist the teachers time and affect the learning of other kids. Putting other children and teachers at risk and wasting tax payers money. 2) Children from all backgrounds get expelled. Some kids from poor backgrounds who's heads are more easily turned. Some kids from rich backgrounds whos parents have taught them they have a right to do what ever they want. Whilst plenty of kids from all sorts of backgrounds just get on with things. So the root of this issue isn't with race or poverty or culture, the are peripheral issues. The main cause is little s*** kids and parents who enable them. 3) Parents of rich kids getting expelled probably blame their kids issues on everyone but themselves. Dyslexia, ADHD, bad teachers, pollution, sugar in drinks. They will blame everyone but themselves. However, not every kid with dyslexia/ADHD is getting expelled. So that's just bulls***. 4) At some point something gets in a kids head and tells them that they are different and they dont have to comply. Eg. They are rich and better than everyone else, they are poor and no one cares, immigrants took there jobs, there from a different background and everyones racist etc etc. Weak parenting and overstretched schools will struggle to combat this. It's a system of blaming others and it is a s*** excuse. 5) Refer to previous points and take some accountability for your little s***. Consider how many people from loads of backgrounds dont get expelled before trying to blame society. Spare a thought for those struggling to get by but cause no problems whilst having to put up with the antisocial behaviour of others.

In the Asian families, ok they have solid family units, the children know or have instilled in them that they have to do better than white people to succeed. In the black community that is certainly not the case.

This is like arguing with someone about aliens making the pyramids, but with less evidence and self-critical analysis. Interesting analogy with a lot of truth in it. Not just though in this particular thread. I experience the same kind of responses quite frequently. I have just read through the various comments and it's good to read your's, which come from someone who clearly knows what they are talking about, making a mockery of someone who accepts pseudoscience as fact without actual evidence. To do so politely and without rancour does you credit. The "rinsing" belongs to you.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

So a poster who you agree with knows what they are talking about but if you don’t agree with them, they don’t. How predictable you are
