However, I do watch plenty of English football, and that gives me all the insight I need to know into your ‘expert’ opinions on the players above. In the 10 months since you made the suggestions, how many Premier League goals do you think those 15 players achieved? I don’t think you want to know the answer. You won’t accept any of this of course, and will continue to explain just why Yoshinoro Motu is amazing despite scoring once in 17 games, but I hope you enjoy reflecting on the list as much as I did.

Good grief! Well if that is the case that is quite some list. Barring one or two, that is virtually a list of the top 15 worst performing strikers / complete failures in the Premier League since Dec 2018!

Some very dodgy players on the list, but I doubt Matteo really believes every recommendation he suggests would be a good fit, even if he does like to remind people of the ones he gets right:

You say that Benteke is a much better goalscorer and that Batshuayi a poor forward and that such an excahange that Antonio Conte wanted would be stupid for Palace. How much is Benteke still worth now? About 10-15 million? And Bats? About 40 million? And more goals guaranteed? Yeah, right, I'm the one who couldn't see the future and plays FM At least most people who say these things don't have the audacity to keep claiming them after they've been proven wrong. You keep being the same type of fellow 2 years later. Oh, and about Leigh Griffiths, I'm totally at fault for not knowing he'll miss 360 days of football due to injury or depression.
