As to Wagner, see what Huddersfield fans have to say and I think you'll find it hard to find many clubs with so few points that still support their manager. Good post

Gerrard has been mentioned a few times but not Frank Lampard. I think Frank has got Derby playing good attacking football, and with youngsters, he could be a good option.

I would never admit to having "Infinite knowledge" as I am a bit of an intellectual vacuum but I thank you all the same for your comment. I agree that it was indeed a downward spiral for Dowie after he left us.Perhaps there were extenuating circumstances which came into play.

All I got to say is that those who do not learn from history are deemed to repeat it. lol take one Alan Curbishley at Charlton, he got them promoted twice, got them in to middle of the premiership…the fans stared to get on his back and said he had taken them as far as he can and they “deserved” a manager that can play better football and take them up to the next stage and playing on Europe etc… they subsequently made him resign… and they got the mighty Ian dowie to take them the next step…. End result, they got relegated twice.

Jury is still out on both of them as managers. If either came, they would only be using us as a stepping stone to their dream jobs at Liverpool and Chelsea respectively. Graham Potter would be an interesting shout. A young English coach who has made his name abroad, like Roy, and who is now coaxing some pretty decent performances out of Swansea with his hands tied by that club's finances.
