ok let’s cut the crap that Palace did really well today to beat Huddersfield. We played really badly and were luck not to end up loosing. Are you for real ? Just what does that entail exactly ? Spending £100m only to finish just above half way ( Everton, West Ham ) ? Or taking it to the extreme - spend £100m and get relegated ( Fulham ) Getting into the Premier League is hard. Staying there is even harder. There are certainly things that could be better - getting value for money from a £120k per week £30m striker for example. Because his wages are a drain on the club's resources. And I don't like the way that certain ex players are employed in jobs that I question they are qualified to do. So it's not perfect. And this season could and should have been better. The season is not over yet. We could finish 11th and maybe 10 points clear of the relegation zone. That's not barely staying up is it ?

It'd be a relief to not have a 'will they, won't they stay up' season, but to be honest I'm not sure it's the time to criticise. The win was massive and at times like this a win's a win no matter how it looks. We don't yet have the financial clout of some and its premature to paint the season as some kind of disaster.
