Bit harsh, he just made a cracking save. Granted he's charging out for every cross and has flapped at a couple, but our defenders aren't showing any signs of attacking the ball are they?

not harsh, hes average and always looks like hes got a rick in him.

i really, really like the idea of butland in the summer as a new #1

Appalling 1st half.
Defensively we've been a disaster.

Watford attack with pace and purpose, we do it strictly come dancing with very high heels.

Kouyate and Meyer have looked good on the few occasions they've seen the ball. We do not need to play both Macca and Luka in a game like this.

When we break they get 5 back and push us wide. Macca and Luka are too deep so there is a huge gap in the middle when they counter.

We're losing the midfield battle. Corners are no good to us, so I think we need to get Macca off, put tekkers on and go for the knock down.

If it's not over to top, give it to Meyer to run at their 18 yard box and slip it through.

We seem to be on top of each other on the right hand side. Meyer and Macca in each others space. Luka need sto be more aware so he can release the bal more quckly to the AWB overlap.

I wouldn't be against that, could he play at a better team though?

Poorest Palace performance all season for me so far. Appalling, no commitment in the tackle, no bite in the midfield despite having 5 midfielders on the pitch, no movement and no heart. It’s like Brighton on a worse level.

What’s a rick in him mean?

Can’t mean trick in him because that’s a compliment and a positive

Never heard of a rick in my life

Tactically - and in the organisation - they are lightyears ahead of us.

Therefore teams with inferior players will continue to beat us regularly, as long as Hodgson is in charge.

It is as simple as that.

Funny, this is where RH is supposed to be tactically acute. Simple fact is this team have lost all the hardness at set plays, crosses etc that Pulis instilled in them. Watford know corners will give them opportunities.

Lacks a yard in pace in my opinion, a little loose in is passing too. Seems to pop up with a clever goal or assist every now and then though. We have better options but Roy likes him.

We look like a lower level Prem team, and they are a level above us. I realise we don't have Zaha or Sakho, but we look second best today in almost every department.
Roy got his work cut out here to turn this around.
