Correct Spidey, paras are shock troops. A couple of crows got nervy under extreme pressure, brought on by cowardly players hiding behind civvies.

I am sure there was some armed threat but this has always appeared to me to be indiscriminate killing. I don’t think the paras were in fear for their lives, just angry and out of control. In any other sphere of life they would be held to account. They can’t be above the law.

And yet, paradoxically, there was no blackout in Dublin of a night. All their lights were left ablaze, which enabled the Luftwaffe to triangulate where cities of Liverpool and Coventry were, (amongst others) Weird how only one soldier is being charged for Bloody Sunday. I guess ballistics could only identify his weapon.
