Maybe a load of rubbish but I heard a rumour that we have been paying these American investors £1.5 million per month interest for there investment...know idea if true or if anyone knows anymore on this

I very much doubt it as £18m a year in interest is a ridiculous amount and probably equals their investment anyway

I doubt that its true as well, but with the way we splash money around it wouldn't surprise me

It would show up in the accounts and show the Americans as being very stupid towards this venture.

Depends if there was some debt along with the equity

Can't see why there would have been

But maybe they have made a capital gain equivalent to that.

Im glad they are going they haven't done anything for the club you would expect the influence they have in US they would be spreading the Palace brand about and even marketing it with there other owned products but no.

SP screw up here getting them to sign wrong type of deal because he was desperate and didn't want to use his own cash.

regarding them taking money out they are its in the books under a loan they gave also i expect they are doing like SP taking extra for so called services

Surely the off season would be a more appropriate time to make this public knowledge? I guarantee the players and management are side-tracked by this.

But they devalue their investment if this affects on field results. Poor business decision. I would consult for them, for a small percentage fee, if they are interested.

With an improved stadium, the club is more attractive to investors. I will be surprised if the Americans sell up before the new stand is given the final go ahead.

The club really needs a super rich owner to push through all the issues and take the club forward. Without that, we will never compete with the likes of Spurs and Arsenal.
We don't want more quick buck merchants.
The club has huge potential with the right people calling the shots.
A new stadium site or purchase of the land, housing and businesses around the current site would help Palace realise the dream of being a big club. It then becomes more attractive to players and new fans.

I hope I live long enough to see this happen.

They haven't made it public knowledge. Currently its just Wall Street Journal gossip. Neither Blitzer Nor Harris have confirmed the rumours.
If true they will probably announce it when there is something to announce.

Much as I'd like to see that happen, we all would, who said we were going to compete with Arsenal and Spurs with a new main stand and a 34,000 capacity?
Get real. Even with a billionaire owner that will never happen. Trust methe 'establishment' do not want Little old Crystal Palace getting too big for their boots. Obstacles will be placed in the way of that kinfd of forward progress at every turn. Not that the club would ever have the money to compete on that level anyway.
