The Man Utd team is likely to be:

De Gea

Young
Smalling
Lindelof
Shaw

Pogba
Fred
McTomanay

Sanchez
Lukaku
Rashford

They still have more than enough to screw us as usual

Let's keep the ball this season!

Well they didn't screw us the last time we played them.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Yes, but did you see who was the author of that tosh?

Note, our Adrian didn't step up and make a similar suggestion when Palace went to Goodison Park with 13 players in the physio room. Funny that.

aka Fvckwit. Who actually listens to such tosh? Let me guess; ManU 'supporters'.

Don't think they'll risk Rashford and doubt Fred will start but still a very very strong team, it only takes one of Pogba, Sanchez or Lukaku to wake up on the right side of the bed for us to be in serious trouble.

If Tahith Chong worries you more than Juan Mata or Alexis Sanchez, then you might need professional help.

Alexis Sanchez has been playing like ass ever since joining United, and Mata is too slow for the style of play Solskjaer likes, so is often detrimental to the style of play they try to go for. Chong fits into the mould of fast, tricky winger that they love. And he'll be eager to make an impression.

Turns out Chong, Gomes and James Garner will travel with United to the game. They may all just start on the bench but I wouldn't be surprised if they came on at some point. Garner's been compared to Carrick by Solskjaer.

Lukaku always scores against us.
Still a team of 10 internationals.
We thought we'd do well against them on the last day two seasons ago and were beaten by a team of kids.

We've got to beat them at some point in the league though. Last year was the real chance and we messed it up (should have bought Jaro on for Sorloth at 2-0 in my opinion).

Last home match we drew 1-1 with the Spammers with AWB and Sakho at the back. Would be overjoyed with a point tonight but feel even with their long injury list they will be favourites and may well edge it.

Hark back to the old Andy Thorn, Chris Coleman etc. League Cup victories, mid week 8 pm kick offs at Selhurst. Cracking atmosphere, get right in their throats showing them no respect, producing a hard fought victory. COYP !!

Fred starts for United, Rashford on the bench. No word on how they're shaping up though. Gotta try to exploit Fred's lack of experience in this league.
