Her indoors has Amazon Prime.....I thought it was a character in the Transformer movies.

The Monkees and Saturday teatimes 1967 are inextricably linked for me.

Peter Tork, for no obvious reason, was my third favourite Monkee behind Micky Dolenz and Mike Nesmith. They actaully produced some songs that I still find listenable - Last Train to Clarkesville, I'm a Believer and Pleasant Valley Sunday. They did rather commit commercial suicide with the off-beat Alternate Title.

That song was a hit.

There is a pressure on groups to write their own material because that is how you make the most money from music.
Manufactured bands with some big hits still might not end up rich if they have no song writing royalties coming in. That was Dolenz first self penned release.

You are correct. For some reason I had an idea that it didn't trouble the top 20 but I have just checked and it reached No.2 in the Hit Parade.
