Mind you, it's a niche market so that (deliberately) sounds more impressive than it is, but it's significant to those who rely on it for their wages (including me) and I'll never promote anything but a positive, patriotic approach to what we do. Scaremongering doesn't tend to get the best out of people or help them enjoy their work. If the company fails it'll be my fault, not Brexit. My job is to adapt and survive and we've managed to craft opportunity because of Brexit, not despite it. Pollution monitering eh.

Do you misunderstand deliberately or are you just not very bright? Brexit is a convenient excuse for poor managers to blame to cover up their own deficiencies The airline has been lossmaking for a few years and was flying to places that weren't as popular as larger airlines flew to (shades of Monarch) What made me smile was that despite a press release stating that rising fuel costs were the main reason for the bankruptcy most of the lefty and anti Brexit media lead with a headline blaming Brexit. Still I suppose that the remainer mugs will believe any tripe that they are fed by a media with a vested interest Edited by Midlands Eagle (17 Feb 2019 7.21am) Thanks for making this point so I didn't have to. Brexit of a great excuse if your business model is s***, or you're losing out to competition.

Pollution monitering eh. We're more concerned with ensuring regulatory compliance through the approved monitoring methods (frontline stuff rather than policy). That said, I'm not a fan of Khant and I hear of dubious practices coming from those tasked with serving the public's interests (pre Kahn as well in fairness) with regards to avoiding falling foul of their own guidelines, which I find a bit rich. So although I'm not party to any insight beyond what's available to us all, given what goes on elsewhere it wouldn't surprise me if what you're implying has some truth.

They do but the remainer media tend to ignore anything that isn't negative as it doesn't suit their agendas and the remainer sheep take it all in. There was a flight expert talking on the BBC news last night and he put down the demise of BMI to not being large enough to compete, not having enough cash to compete and flying to routes that people didn't want to go to citing their average capacity at just 18 people per flight as the prime cause. Still that doesn't sound as interesting as blaming it all on Brexit and getting all you mugs to believe it
