I'm sure we all agree that Kevin Muscat is a wrong'un, despite having turned out for us a couple of times (to our discredit).

As for being an ok footballer, not for me Clive. Talentless and classless. A hatchet merchant.

I certainly don’t admire him because he’s a thug, more his style of play which is physical, direct, works hard, scores goals and is passionate about Watford. I’d love a striker like that for us. He comes across as quite a decent bloke and is possibly a reformed man after spending time in prison, surely a good thing?

His comments about how they kick Wilf in turns is not a surprise, I’m fairly sure half the teams in the Prem have the same tactic, but he’s the only player who comes out and says it which I find refreshing. If he said the same about Eden Hazard we wouldn’t give two hoots.

Surely what he said about Wilf was massively beneficial to us. I'd much rather he revealed their underhand tactics than that he didn't. Perhaps it's also useful for Wilf to think about.

Not a huge fan of him as a man or a player. What can be said is that he's made the most of his ability...something many players don't.

Plastic club. Brighton of the north, not a London club, plastic fans with half and half Arsenal/Spurs scarfs. Unfairly labled as plucky when the business they have done especially to get promoted was dodgy as.

He's a championship target man at best punching above his weight. What you've described is the remit of the Wimbledon scouting network of the late 80s: "get it in the mixer"

As for decent bloke, I'm not sure what you're basing that on. Boasts about systematically trying to injury a player, stuck is thumb in Joe Allen's eye and went to prison for curbing someone just to put the dog turd icing on a particularly ugly cake.

He’s scored 33 Prem goals, if he was a Championship target man he’d be playing in the Championship.

I’m his interviews I believe he comes across as a decent bloke, a reformed character. I am aware of his past and it seems (I could be wrong) he’s learned his lesson and is better for it. He wasn’t boasting about trying to injure Wilf, he was describing the tactics.

Anyway, I don’t want to be praising the opposition captain anymore on match day. Let’s agree that we have different views on it.

13 of which have been penalties leaving 20 from open play in just over 3 and a half seasons. That's championship at best.

I agree that we have different views on it and cannot see how you arrive at your particular conclusion given the facts of the matter.

Poor goal return, good striker?
Convicted thug, decent bloke?

Seems a logical conclusion.

Zaha is 7/2 to get a yellow card today, worth lumping on that I reckon given their targeting of him and his temperament.

Watford are a small club, enjoying a few days in the sun, much like Bournemouth.

Don't waste your hatred on them, they'll be gone soon enough.

As for Palace being a one man team, well at least we have one.

What odds for zaha booked and deeney to score?

Bound to happen as I've been slaughtering him all week.

Oh God! I might have to start reading The Guardian if this is an example of its content. Excellent, apart from not mentioning ‘Shearer’ as the tw@t who said Wilf needed to “take it like a man”.

I think the only good thing that Goal machine really means to say is that he was honest enough to come out with the information about stopping Wilf, we all imagine and think teams organise such behaviour but to actually hear it from the horses mouth removes any imagining.

There is a way of stopping players from playing by blocking and getting in their way etc but this really is a huge big issue about destroying the game we all love watching and entertainment is what it's all about, brief moments of fun, brief moments when Zaha beats players and creates huge amounts of fun, they do not happen very often because football can be incredibly tedious, we've all tried watching another game where the outcome has no relevance!
Every fan dreams for these brief moments and here is this football team telling us they purposely destroy them, but the question is how many of these players are actually involved in it? is it all of them? or just a few?..and then how many other teams are also doing it?, Huddersfield had a good go didn't they.

Now no football team is going to say they are going to let certain players play against them and create opportunities and of course we all understand that, but officials need to be able to realise what is happening before them, Zaha told them and got perilled publicly, now Watford players have told them ..what are they going to do about it?

To be honest I don't mind Watford.

What with Birmingham, Villa, Forest, Derby etc all playing in the Championship, its nice to see one Midlands club in the Prem.
