And where would Moses fit in to the current line up ?

He would compete/cover for wide positions

Which we already have cover for.

I'm really just intrigued why folk are having a pop at the club for potentially 'missing out' on someone we don't even know we're in for in the first place. I do sometimes wonder whether our 'poor recruiting' rep is based on fact or just click bait/lazy reporting? If we were genuinely in for all of the players that get touted each transfer window we'd need the biggest recruitment dept in the league.

I don't think we can afford a potential £12m fee plus a sizeable salary for cover anymore than I see Zaha or Andros making way for him.

If VM leaves, it's for a starting position otherwise he may just as well keep taking Chelsea's money

£12m is nothing compared to £9m wasted on Sorloth. He would provide competition for places, at the moment Zaha and Townsend are guaranteed starts, which isn’t good for the team.

Playing devils advocate, he could be seen as AWBs replacement when we sell him to Man City for £50m.

I don't think we'll sell him.

But his wages woukd be. Personally would rather use that sort of money/wages somewhere else. ..

What cover do we have for the wings for Andros or wilf if they get injured?

players with pace now, cos ayew is required mostly as a striker or hasn't proved much worth aside from late.

Not definitive perhaps but RH gave the entire 2nd XI a runout on Saturday except in the wide positions where he felt compelled to play zaha and townsend.

You may think there is ample cover but that selection suggests otherwise

I'd say Schlupp & Ayew were cover plus there's always Kaikai.

Fact is, there's far more pressing matters than extra wide men.

Ever considered we are getting in a replacement for wilf before we sell him next summer so we ain’t bled dry after wilfs sale in trying to find a replacement?

Lot of respect for VM - but not a priority position. We need a proven striker and if we're going to recruit outwith a striker, it needs to be someone where we can add some value, that's not Victor. He'll be great buy for someone though, he's a smart lad - maybe a few seasons overseas, not SE25 though.
