It could be just the system we're playing. I also think Sorloth has not had required game time, but having said that, I don't think he is up to Premiership standard as yet, and is not yet prepared to be dunked in to the deep end whilst we are desperate. A loan away may give us an answer to his potential once he has had plenty of game time.

Yes obviously. People are hard on tekkers. He works hard for the team and does everything but score. However his main advantage is the fact that he is a big old unit and can't be ignored. Opponents must play a CB of similar dimensions leaving gaps for our more mobile midfield and more clumsy challenges in the box etc. Thus, goals, assists, err... no. Better results, maybe? Totally agree with this post

In terms of Solanke, I suspect quite a few supporters are elated at the prospect of us acquiring him but it should be remembered that he hasn't played a single first team game this season and last season only scored 1 goal in 27 games for Liverpool, however I suspect most were from the bench.That single goal was in a 4-0 home drubbing of Brighton.Perhaps expectations need to be dampened.

Just watched an 8 minute you tube of Solanke’s goal and skills etc. This guy looks exactly what we need up front. Got some lovely footwork and strikes the ball well. Everything I’ve read suggests he fights for the ball and gets stuck in. Good luck to him, playing in front of Wilf and Andros,I see good things COYP!!!
