Our failure to win and acceptance of failures (Roy recent press conferences along the lines of only losing by the odd goal and never being outplayed etc) seem to indicates a willingness to accept a losing streak which is somewhat dangerous as it becomes the norm.

He also feels that Ayew and Sorloth will be in the goals very soon.Delusional???? I don't think so. He's hardly going to say that they are both total dog s**t is he? And he does see them in training every day so maybe he knows (or hopes) that they'll come good. Personally I think Sorloth may get a few, but Ayew won't score for us during his loan period.

We are very fortunate that there are several really poor teams this season. Cardiff and Huddersfield are the first two names to spring to mind. Fulham have surprised me at how poor they have been. Newcastle and Southampton are poor and Burnley are only a little better. Several of these teams share the same failing as us - no one to bang the goals in. I had hoped for better this season, it seems it will be the usual struggle, but I do believe there are three worse teams. Then of course there';s the Allardyce factor, someone will roll the dice and recruit him, but he can't save them all!

And Zaha, no matter how good you think he is, can't score alone to keep the team up. Edit: 90% of the posters here would have given an arm to see Traore bought by Palace in the summer!!

I wouldn't have signed Traore, his end product is no better than Townsend's and he's nowhere near Zaha.

traore is all speed and not much else. we need a NATURAL striker, all bringing Traore in would've done is, ensure zaha stayed up top. Hes not capable. Hes no Thierri Henry and able to convert to striker, sadly. But he'll remain the closest thing to Ronaldo. Though nowhere as good.

The point was listing just how many players the other teams have who can score. I think the point was made why each of them have more chances to stay up. Hopefully not, but it will be very hard without someone banging in goals. There would be about 20 strikers worldwide that Palace could afford, capable of coming in and scoring asap in the PL. But someone needs to know his transfer business in the winter.

We are in a difficult run of games, we do not become a better or worse team because of scheduling,
