We will hit the post twice and give away silly free kicks and may be a pen, 0-2 for the Gooners. Will be interested to see if Woy uses any Subs

To my mind we cannot afford to 'Out Arsenal, Arsenal' like Fulham tried to do by playing expansive football and ended up getting thwacked 5-1.

I believe we need to have both Milivojevic and Kouyate as defensive shields and try to stfile their attacking threats as much as possible whilst trying to exploit the fact that both their full-backs play very high up the pitch at the same time.

I believe a draw would be a good and most unexpected result.

If we get a draw tomorrow,it will be the most unexpected result since Trump winning the US presidential race,BUT it did happen!!

So the pundits have their say:

Merson is worried for us and predicts we will only lose 3-1,whereas Lawro is feeling we are due some good fortune and may hold them to a 1-1 draw.

My predictions are 3-0 to Arsenal with Roy opting to play a left back in midfield and two wingers up front and then make a sub when we are 3-0 down. You heard it here first

I have heard supporters indicating that Meyer should be given a start.

At Schalke Meyer’s qualities were generally applied to more attacking rules, either as a playmaker or a winger, and on occasion as a centre forward.

The manager however, gave him a new role at the heart of a five-man midfield, where he was deployed in a central defensive role but his real role was to utilise his creativity when possession returned to Schalke. Dropping Meyer so deep in the midfield drew markers toward him in an attempt to quash his creativity but he looked to play his way out of trouble and his ability to see passes allowed his team to get on the front foot. Playing Meyer so deep was controversial among some pundits but Meyer recorded a very high pass completion rate last season of 89% creating some good chances for his teammates.

Maybe this is a role Hodgson has considered for Meyer.

Narrow defeat is my forecast.
With regard to Meyer I don’t think he’ll start.
Roy is quoted on BT Sport as saying Meyer is ‘breathing down the other midfielders’ necks.’
This suggests he won’t start is an indication of the manager’s conservatism.
If Meyer can’t get a start when the other midfielders are off form and we are losing when can he get an opportunity.
In my view Roy is unsure at this stage what to do with Meyer, Sorloth and Ayew and I am not convinced he will use them.
