People aren't being fair on Ayew. He's not a towering target man. He should play off one, not as one. We're playing as if benteke is there and he's not. We're mildly improved... Or perhaps Bournemouth have slowed a tad.

Totally second best tonight. There's quality in that 11 but we're not showing it at all - some embarrassing attempts at passing out there. Good to see Sakho back in beast mode at least

A dreadful first half performance. Midfield just looks non-existent, penetration is zero and the defending was bad enough for long enough. Sakho looking better. Townsend and Ayew both utter s***e.

What worries me is this is the 5th league game running where we have looked slow, lethargic and sometimes just totally uninterested... Something just not right. Meyer looks quality already. Zaha has been s*** as has Townsend... Bournemouth just seem far more up for this than us.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

We are so slow. Our passing is poor and the goal was awful defending. Roy needs a big half time talk for us to get back in the match.
