Many sites are running with the story including the guardian & the telegraph plus it’s all over Twitter. I’m not saying they are reliable but we do have history spending copious amounts of money on Liverpool players. I don't think this will happen and the price being bandied about is over the top. £15M/£16M is the right price for Ings given his injury problems. At that sort of price he would be a reasonable signing.
Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that. |

If this fee of 20m for Ings is correct given his injury history then surely it would be wise to have a play as you go contract like what Spam have done with Wilshere. But on the other hand Paying 20/15m for Ings would not be a better solution to go for Slimani or Oliver Giroud who reported fees are 18/ 20m. I know that Giroud must be on mega wages, but you have to question the reported 170k a week of Max Meyer if these rumours are true.

Do they really want Ings? And that price? Better defer to their expert opinion. Tammy Abrahams is young fit has been called up for England and perfect fit for Eagles only 20. And if I hear right, a reasonable price. Ings, we could never afford the Guinness.
