For my youngest next birthday party we're going to play pin the tail on Sorloth.

Riedewald freeing Luka to replace Cabaye always seemed the possibility to me

Luka and Riedewald are both entirely different players to Cabaye. They’re anchors who both specialise in the simple stuff, which can’t go understated.

Whilst Macca can quite clearly do the Cabaye role and probably will. It is undoubtedly disappointing that we seem to just be taking the hit of losing our most creative player by a country mile on the chin.

If we don’t replace Cabaye with an actual like for like player, we’ll see the side effects pretty early on in the season. He used to take a bit of stick, but he’s the type of player who when not in the team anymore will be sorely missed.

We're the Arthur over ere!

Absolute horror by the keeper who up until then has had nothing to do.

One of the issues with having a string of friendlies against poorer teams. Defence and Goalie do not get enough match practice

Sorloth looks absolute pony.

Fave bit of the half was Brighty on comms saying Townsend doesn’t shoot enough. I thought literally all he does is cut inside and shoot!

he forgot the 'on target' bit. Another one over the top

And there was me thinking it was a blatant mistake by the keeper when all along the fault lay with the level of opposition

I'm surprised we didn't make a move for Ki from Swansea. Similar type of player and a free agent
