Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

It's just a factor of the difference between their market and hours. A modest transfer fee in the PL would likely by an entire club in some parts of the world.

They made a £10m profit in under a year. If you are right, we should be buying the Scandi talent en masse at the sub £1m stage to bulk out the squad.

I'd have thought Reidewald would play as a DM (he played there for Ajax as most young CB do to get comfortable on the ball), which Luka currently does so well. I've no idea who will be the Yohan replacement.

Except they won't sell at that price to PL clubs with wads of dosh. £10m price hike in a season seems to be cheap compared with our league anyway. Watford paid £11m to Fluminese for Rucharlison, a similar sum to what we paid for Sørloth, and sold him a year later for £50m despite his having been s***e pretty much all season. Prices are escalating and if you're in the PL you pay a premiun. A good deal from outside would be one like Milivojevic, but even he was bought by Olympiakos for €2.3m in June 2015 and sold to us 18 months later for €16m.
