Indeed, Johnno.

Mad, I know, but I put a tenner on Australia to win, at 11-1 with Coral.

Aussies holding France, goalless at halftime with Jedi captaining the Aussies.

And yet some people think Jedi was/is past it!

He may not have been a starter for us anymore but without doubt would have done a job as a squad player.

And to think we sold a word cup player for 4 million!!! bloody madness.

They are doing well so far. Nice comment by Lawrenson after a French player went down like he had been shot 'he's gone down with a dislocated shoelace'.

Yes I liked that. Lawro has a refreshing cynicism about him, to counter the usual hype. I like it, but I appreciate that others don’t.

I'm not sure who the woman on the BBC panel is but she is speaking an awful lot of sense. If she is a coach perhaps we (Palace) could take her on for one of our sides?

No argument from me.

She’s a footballer; an England international with lots of caps. Yes; sensible. I would too

I was hoping she may have been an ex-player.

You could be in luck. Just looked her up on Wiki. She retired at the end of the season, finishing her career with Arsenal Ladies. Alex Scott MBE.

France score penalty after VAR tells referee to look again. He watched the video and awarded it.

Interesting Talksport say penalty but the BBC say not.

Wow 2nd penalty this time for Aussies and Jedi scores.
