FFs,That's the point he has admitted to mistakes, and now come out with comments yesterday saying he has already got irons in the fire and also knows that the window closes early. So Maime eagle has come on here being negative, when he could have just read Parish's comments. What was it Jordan said,"if we had won the league, people would still Joan about the hot dogs". Yes but you still have some thinking and saying Parish has done nothing wrong and got it all right, despite Parish saying he hasn’t. Jordan’s error FWIW was treating the non season ticket holder with little respect and his running of things was erratic. Parish and 2010 did a great job in beginning to repair that damage, including keeping ticket prices the same actual £ price. Then we got promoted.

Let's hope he means it.
always a Norwood boy, where ever I live. |

Maybe too early to judge Freedman considering very little was spent in January on players obviously not intended to feature immediately and the focus being the next season, hence the bid for Adamou. Edited by Rudi Hedman (10 May 2018 1.31pm)

Several reasons, how often do you see us linked with a player for us to lose out to them? Bats***crazy to Chelsea and Tosun to Everton spring to mind. I am sure that there are others. Also we (rightly or wrongly) look to get players from some of these clubs. They will usually only sell if they have someone lined up themselves. Alternatively they hold on to the last minute to obtain the best price as clubs start to panic.

we will see if he does learn. over the years he has said a lot of what we want to hear but never followed up with the goods and ended up panicking to please fans by signing players to over shadow the other faults I want to know what freedman really does since coming back we have heard nothing from him or even someone mentioning what his roles will be (could just be scape goat for SP if things go wrong again) with all this talk about wanting to keep rlc i really hope we dont do like previous season with benteke and sako end up wasting the whole window trying to do a deal for the one player I do ave a good feeling with Roy here he will bring a lot to the club in all different ways. Any one know whats going on with training ground? the last i read was the residents moaning about the plans also i see palace have been using other places as well throughout the season.

We are about to finish 10th in the top division and then enter our sixth consecutive season in that top flight. We have some of the best players we have ever had. Eight years ago we were bust. This should be a time of rejoicing, not attacking our Chairman for actually admitting he has made a mistake or two. After freeing up money to buy Mutch and Lee for example you can understand him being cautious. What do people actually want? To complete expensive signings of people who then go on to be disasters? That is the policy adopted by Stoke and look what happened to them. Berahino anyone? Gianni Imbula? Wimmer? Many other clubs could produce a similar list, not least West Ham. It is an interesting exercise reading the transfer talk threads dating back to previous windows and seeing which players Palace fans were gutted to miss out on, and what failures they have been since. This is not a game off football manager, it is played with real money, which is not your money or mine.

Hoping for a better performance from Dougie and his little black book this time round.

We (meaning Sam) were after Tosun last summer but allegedly left the bid too late and also allegedly couldn't agree on payment terms. This January Sam at Everton was after Tosun again and I think that the journalists just chucked our hats into the ring without any evidence.

They look like finishing high mid table in the toughest league in the world. That is not good enough for some they moan constantly about transfer windows, the squad not being good enough etc. Maybe some reflection on what has been achieved in the last few years is needed.

be happy to, your questions in bold: Which players and which clubs would that be? Ronnow, for one: How was RH made a fool of? How can you not be made a fool of, when you state publicly what the number 1 priority is in the window, and you dont sign a player in that window to address that? Parish has a lot to learn about man management of managers, going back to Pulis, including keeping Pardew around too long, and then the Allardyce situation. All acts of God? Believe that if you want. What stories, planted where, but which journalists? Parish spun a narrative from early in the window that there was no way we would sign Sakho. He repeated this on the HOL Radio podcast. Also see here, one of many: Hopefully I am not ranting...

Tosun didn’t happen because of the time we approached in August and them not having someone lined up themselves. He signed for Everton in January.

Rumour is RLC is not in our sights as a permanent signing this season so the clue is there. Maybe a loan or a bid in 14 months time.
