And he wants to come here, then really the club aren’t in a strong selling position. I’d expect the price to be closer to £15m than £20m

although two decent midfielders are the first priority it would be massive if we could get this one in, he'd compete with Townsend on one of the wings and can play as striker or number 10, and we're light in these areas too, esp as McArthur is our only viable attacking midfielder at the moment, two classy cloggers and this guy and we'd be OK imho

Let's hope that the likes of Antonio; Ings (if deal is a success) and Wickham will not be keeping the physios busy for much of next season. It is beginning to feel that we are targeting players who have more chance starring for Holby City than Crystal Palace....

Antonio is pretty decent. However, why is this taking so long. Makes you wonder who makes it so slow. The player, the agent or the club? I reckon the club as we are always blaming agents.

Hmmm, its the Mirror so we'll have to take it with a pinch of salt. However West Ham do need to move some of their playing staff on before the window closes so it's a possibility.
