It has potential to be one of those games where the ref can outstanding or atrocious - he will dictate it.

I feel it's almost worth Hodgson mentioning the ref, saying it will need a strong minded ref to handle such a physical game and for milo to say something at the start to show we are prepared to play to the whistle and respect the ref.

My only prediction is it won't be easy - we rarely do things in a straightforward way. Our only "easy" win of the season was at Leicester. Our other victories have been hard fought, tense, scrappy affairs which have been won by the odd goal (right at the end on three occasions I think) . On that basis I would be surprised if we were to win by more than the odd goal against Huddersfield, and that's if we actually win.

It would help if we could put in a consistent shift throughout the match. All too often we have started slowly and have had to try and make up ground in the second half.

Absolutely agree with this espaecially last para. We seem to be behind most first halves and then press like hell in the last 10 mins and actually look dangerous.

Drop Tekkers and we will run our 3-1 winners. When I watch him at the moment, I feel like we are playing with 10 men on the pitch...

Yep, the bane of our season and a few earlier ones. Let's hope for a performance like Leicester away or Burnley home. COYP !!

We must match them physically! If we achieve this then I can see Palace nicking it 2-1.

They are not to be underestimated as they will fancy their chances after giving us a good hiding on the opening day.

No Tekkers then.

We have to come out fighting for every single ball right from the off and take the game to them. Hopefully we’re not as naive as the game at selhurst. Time to stand up and be counted. And tekkers, please turn up and score a couple, you owe us big time!

Doubt whether the manager will be. No Townsend or Tomkins, Luka subbed at half time at Selhurst. Puncheon not around. The Beast will probably be at the back. Expect the Udders will be getting a much sterner test. COYP !!

Problem is - we can't both rack up points can we so something has to give. We'll be looking for a win as I'm sure that you are.
