To be fair Brighton have looked a really good team ghd last 3 or 4 games, especially at home.

Arsenal are playing so poorly, they make the Weed look like Barcelona!!

These teams have got few injuries and so have a real advantage over us.
Without so many injuries I believe we would be near safe already

The injuries certainly haven’t done us any favours but if we had addressed the striker issue when we had the chance and also if we hadn’t appointed Frank de Boer and lost games at home to Swansea and Huddersfield we would be in a comfortable position by now.

Yep, we need to take a leaf out of their book and start tomorrow with that intensity as well and get Man Ure rattled.

Man Utd have already lost away to Newcastle and Huddersfield this season so we’re definitely in with a shout of getting some kind of a result.

And if we hadn't missed those penalties against Bournemouth and Man C we would be on 31 pts and in a more comfortable position ! All Ifs,buts and maybes.

At the end of the day when our fate is sealed there will be a furore on HOL and elsewhere with Parish lambasted to the extent that he will need to wear a tin helmet and tighten the straps. There will of course be other reasons brought to the fore - Hodgson who has done a magnificent job thus far, will be free of any culpability.

With our injuries, not expecting anything other than a United win, although a point would be very useful.

The difference between the missed pens and the injuries is that the pens are just things that happen to any team in a season and most teams can point to it. The sheer volume of injuries we’ve had are a freak occurrence as rare as Leicester’s title win

Brighton will be very used to plenty of rearguard action.

Both of those are difficult to control sometimes. Repeatedly not having back up in areas we knew about for 9 months we could've and should've we had more control of. All those 3 issues cost roughly equal points with some overlapping but we should always enter every season not costing ourselves those points. It's been said by some of us that one season it'll relegate us.

Imagine,

You are on your knees. trousers by ankles.

A Brighton supporter is behind you. Hard.

There is no lubricant to hand.

There is a queue of Brighton fans

It is gonna hurt

I disengage, I turn the page.

Well I think it’s safe to say that Brighton will stay up (a grudging well done)
They still have a load of hard games coming up but today’s 3 points basically have assured them safety.
We could really do with 3 points Tomorrow to keep us above water.
I think injuries though will ultimately have cost us, and a window of poor implementation when really we needed to slash the cash (I know that’s not a great long term strategy, but you want to play in the big boy league, you have to pay big boy prices)
Expect lots of banter / grief when we go down and Brighton stay up.

I’ve written off March, we get a point from anyone I’m ecstatic. April onwards, players back.Winnable games all over the option. We’ll leave it late, but that’s us. Stay up final day on goal difference. No need for panic. Marvellous.
