Shame SP appears to take control of transfer dealings, an area where he clearly needs some experienced assistance. For example, Appearances can be deceptive! Transfer dealings are handled by Phil Alexander and Dougie Freeman. To my knowledge Alexander has years of experience in transfers.

Had a conversation about "Mr Palace" yesterday, we may be doing him a disservice but neither of us know why he is still there. Certainly need an upgrade

Whoever is responsible ... the recent transfer dealings were very disappointing and we did not fill the TWO positions that were critical. We can all see that.

You don't really believe that? Spurs were very poor but apart from some stalwart defending we were hardly ever in it. No forward momentum whatsoever. Personally I hoped for a 0-0.

I hope Roy stays but I suspect whatever division we are in he will walk away. He has proved he is still a good manager after England and at 71 he doesn't need another year of struggle. I think January transfer window will prove the point when he decided. If we are in the Championship I think Dougie will be our manager. Why do you think that? Its not like he was joining a team that was rocketing up the table was it. I think he did it because he likes the club and he enjoys management. Let's face it, he doesn't need the money. Leaving whenever it happens will not in my opinion have anything to do with transfer windows.

Personally I hoped for a 0-0. Agreed Alan. Done by the dreaded cramps we were. A point was there for the taking and I am convinced we would have got it if Tomkins stayed on.

Personally I hoped for a 0-0. Yes, we did well to hold out but Spurs did not take their chances. I thought they were poor. I am still dubious about the corner from which they scored because I don't think the ball went out. However, there was no threat from us on their goal.

Did we not sign a Striker ? Yes, that's one position. We had all month and weeks before to plan but he signed on deadline day. Very impressive. Fudged up the signing of a goalie because we either didn't pay enough or left it too late for the selling team to find a replacement. It looks amateurish!

However, there was no threat from us on their goal. Agreed Henry but with the midfield we were forced to play we were never going to play anything other than a defensive game. I'm almost certain a point at home would have been Roy's target at the start of the match and regardless of how bad you thought Spurs played I thought we stifled and frustrated their play well. We deserved a point for our endeavour but it wasn't to be. I was too far away to see if it was a corner, but Hennessey looked annoyed.
