Can we stop all the negativity!yes we've dropped points and missed chances but with a depleted squad we still have enough.believe and support please. Good post,3 defeats in 16 is hardly thee end of the world,we still have 11 games left and some of those are very winnable. Three wins should be enough.

If this board is a sign of that, well then we are truly lost! So far it has fortunately not shown in match support. I can imagine people wanting to vent their frustrations on occasions but what I read on here beggars belief. Originally posted by southnorwoodhill
We'll lose a few next games, so will the teams around us - so what is important is to finish strongly - we'll have players back fit for those games - keep the faith, we'll be ok as long as the players and fans stick together

Today we lost because we had nine players out injured, including possibly our two best players. Everton had about £75-100m worth of players on their bench (Tosun, Williams, Bolasie, etc.) and had only lost to Man Utd in their last eight home games. People saying the players don't care must be watching a different Palace, because I see 11 men trying to make the most out of a difficult situation. I've seen plenty of Palace teams who have almost given up or lacking in direction, like under Peter Taylor, Trevor Francis, Olly and Warnock in the PL, and the early games under de Boer. Under Hodgson we've looked organised and there's nearly always been someone available for the player on the ball to pass to. No one looks like they're hiding. Personally I'm most fed up with the endlessly negative posts of some people who even when we are winning are talking about when the next defeat will come. If we can stay up then we have the new GK coming and I imagine Amadou may well sign at that point too. Another striker and a creative midfielder and if Roy will stick with it I think we'll be a lot more comfortable next season. COYP

Our upcoming games do look tough but what are the others around us up to at the same time? Palace Newcastle Stoke Southampton West Brom Swansea Brighton Huddersfield Brighton, Stoke and Newcastle also have some tough games in that set. Swansea and Southampton both have a real chance to put some points on the board but in doing so will take points of those around us. W.Brom could pick up points but will need to start playing a lot better to do so. Huddersfield could also pick up points but again would then take them off our rivals and of course we could take points off them.

I hope we get 2 points from the next 3 with wilf and sakho back and hope other teams don’t get too many points then we can get some points with the last games. Come on palace! The thought of us going down and Brighton staying up makes me feel nauseous.

I am more concerned about our chances of survival than perhaps ever when I look at the whole picture and this manifests itself in a mantra of negativity - I suspect I am NOT alone on HOL. Edited by Willo (10 Feb 2018 6.02pm) Why did you promise to go away in the new year if it wasn’t to simply make yourself the centre of attention...again

This was supposed to be our chance to prove we aren't a one man team. I think that question has been answered. He would have made such a difference today, especially out wide. We are just not the same without him. As per the title, we are in big trouble.

I think it will come down to the last two games, Stoke away and West Brom at home. I’ve got a feeling we will need a win and a draw from these two games to survive but I hope I’m wrong.
