This looks like it won’t happen according to Croydon advertiser when asked about nasri he said good player but we need free agents in gk or forwards , in midfield we have enough cover , in other words his wage demands are probably to high and mr parish has said no ! Or as Roy said, we have enough cover and its nothing to do with SP.

to be honest, nasri was a fantastic player, yes his temperament wasn't always spot on but he is still a very good player. Would be a great player to get in for the remaining games. Parish wont like his wage demands however so doubt it will happen. & with regards to signings in general I just don't understand why our club makes it so difficult when signing anyone... Should have got guiata in when we had the chance in Jan now everyone is panicking. Nasri is poisonous in the changing room, not what we need, good player or not.

Given he recently lost his appeal about the use of an IV for vitamins I don't think it would be a great idea to get a player who may be banned before the season is over.
Why would anyone chose to be a Seagull? The Eagle is a far superior creature. The Seagull lives under it's damp pier meekly looking out, blinded by the sheer quality of the Eagle's palace. |

Clearly a very good reason as to why we never went for him in the end ......NASRI BANNED FROM FOOTBALL Free agent Samir Nasri has been banned from football following the investigation into the intravenous drip treatment he received at a Los Angeles clinic. The player's legal representative in the case, Juan de Dias Crespo Perez, told Press Association Sport that a six-month suspension has been imposed on Nasri by UEFA, European football's governing body.
