Aren't we just! And the number of key injuries and thin squad isn't helping either. Whilst we're not losing games now, we're in danger of drawing ourselves to death. But we've just bought 3 PL ready players !!!

It is a worry that two of the January signings haven't made the bench yet. Perhaps injuries to Zaha and Kelly will move them up the pecking order a bit?
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Love the way people knock our new signings before they even play. Haven't played since nov/Dec, but one was on the bench and the other two played in the u23 match yesterday. They are all young players who have played for their country and one has played in the champions league. Personally I think they're fantastic buys who can have a huge impact on the rest of our season.

The point I was making is that we need them to step up to the plate now and given that they haven't played competitive matches since November/December in all likelihood they won't be match fit. Whether they are "Fantastic buys" remains to be seen - let's hope that they are indeed in this category.

That’s better Willo you post much better when you stick up for the “positive “ Posters, rather than I can’t see us getting anything from the Newcastle game I predict a 0-2 defeat and there will be carnage on the Hol.

I suppose I am Mr 'Doom and Gloom' as far as our prospects are concerned.I am far more positive in my everyday life outside of HOL - although people might not believe it !

I'm 'fraid to say that with all our injuries (especially if Wilf is out for a while), lack of transfers, those two missed penalties and Benteke not scoring i think that our time in the Premier League may be running out. We need 4 more wins and if one of those doesn't come on Saturday then we've gotta hope that we're no more than 3 points adrift in the relegation zone by the time we play Huddersfield. It's a shame as I was confident after our win away at Southampton.
