This post has been merged from a topic called 'The end of the Crystals is nigh' by Penge Eagle I have a scenario in my head where I have a son who is great at football and his ambition is to play at Selhurst in front of 26,000 people. I have a daughter who is great at Football and her ambition is to play at Selhurst in front of 26000 people. And I have a daughter who isn’t great at football but she is a fantastic dancer. Her ambition is to dance at Selhurst in front of 26000 people. I’d hate to have to tell her she can’t.

For a fantastic dancer's main ambition to be to perform on a grass pitch in front of half a crowd of largely disinterested football fans in SE25? In any case, I'm sure she'd be comforted by the fact that as a fantastic dancer she can still use her talent and training as a professional in what is still a huge industry, and while it's not Selhurst at 3.45, a packed out 02 arena performing with Beyonce, a lead principal for the National Ballet or a sold out run on the West End is a still pretty good venue to show what you can do.
Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time. |

Yes, agreed, but a lot of Sunday morning cheerleading clubs are springing up all over the country and by design, the name suggests that they start the cheering at sporting events. Should they be denied the opportunity to do this, and told that they can only perform behind closed doors in front of their parents. (No photography allowed).

How about a packed-out sports stadium, performing with Beyonce at half-time? Hmmm; wait a minute.....
