If he is free of injury then a very good player. I would prefer other less fragile options - but this has got the “Roy knows the player well” cautious signing written all over it. I reckon this will happen. Just hope we get some back up in!

A lot of people on these boards said the same thing about McCarthy (2 years injured) before he signed yet he played 33 games this season. My only question would be: would a fit Danny Welbeck score more goals than Benteke and Wickham?

I agree, I think this is mostly click bait. Just pointing out that referring to a previous injury is not a good argument.
