The crux of it, is that we have two excellent back up keepers. Neither now are a PL number one. This doesn't mean I don't adore Speroni as a person, a player and as a club legend, but now sadly not good enough. New keeper needed.

It is the interpretation of facts that you struggle with. In any event it is not those issues that are boring. There is a different denominator which is far more repetitive and boring here...

It’s not boring. It’s merely that you aren’t prepared to accept and hear it. If you you could handle what is being said then it would wash over over without you even noticing it. It’s because you oppose it and want what is being said to be wrong so much that it grinds your gears. And the truth is that it isn’t wrong. So it’s loud and it grates and it drives you mad. Just let go. Let the truth set you free. You’ll feel great instantly.

And our goal difference was shocking by the time Hennessey had used up his last chance to redeem himself. And since Speroni's return our goal difference is looking a lot more healthy. but why let the facts bother you with your bigoted opions ?

Yeh ignore the fact that we were screwed by FdB, ignore the fact that we lost Wilf for eight games and didn't have Sakho either for a time while he got fit, ignore the fact that we played City and Utd away when City were scoring goals for fun and ignore the fact our defence was s***e and we couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo and couldn't buy a goal, ignore the fact we sacked our manager and Roy and Ray took time to settle in and lastly ignore the fact that the forwards at last discovered where the net was which steadied our goal difference somewhat. Anyone with half a footballing brain would know that it is not always the keeper to blame for poor performances and it's not always the keeper who is responsible for better performances either. And you accuse other people of having bigoted opinions. Jeez.

And you accuse other people of having bigoted opinions. Jeez. Nothing to do with the above. Not even the 17 goals he let in. It's that a good percentage of those goals were easily stoppable (is 'saveable' a word?). It's the type of goals he lets in: from outside the area, balls struck relatively softly, in clear vision, shots that you would expect to be stopped. Now I will say that 'at times' he can do it, but it's like he really has to psyche himself up for that kind of performance. He is mentally soft. And it shows and it must engender lack of confidence with the players. He is not a 'nutter' like Burridge and in fact all of the best keepers. A keeper needs to be a bit eccentric. Hennessey is a nice fella, but he needs to be a mad nutter. I think he can't keep it up. Might be a bit lazy too, according to a Brede Hangeland article where he described Hennessey's laziness in training (would of p1ssed Roy off). Speroni is Speroni and I don't make a big deal of his age as some do. When he's in goal, you just know he's giving it all he's got. Can the same be said for Wayne? His ‘All’ has categorically been proven to not be good enough. Just let it go. It’s never going to happen for him at Palace. Stop winding yourself and everyone else up and lay your guns down.

You promised Midlands Eagle you would stop going on about Hennessey but you haven't so why the f*** should anyone else lay their guns down. Every post that you denigrate Hennessey for no good reason I'll be there.
