Fan v Benteke confrontation

Whats done is done.... it was a massive disappointment that we didn't score a last minute penalty winner. But to be honest a draw was probably a fair result. Getting on Bentekes back will do nothing but INCREASE OUR CHANCE OF RELEGATION. The guy is going through a lean patch (like all strikers do) and the fact that he insisted on taking the pen tells me that he cares, and that he wants to score for this team. If he had he would be the hero. Unfortunately in his attempt to redeem himself and get his mojo back he has dug himself into an even deeper hole. Please lets not turn this into another Shefti Kuqi affair, we can't just swap him in January for someone else. Yes we should be looking for alternative striking options in jan but we have invested heavily in this guy and need to help him back to his best if we are to survive.

He is a disgrace, falls over when hardly touched; Mark Hughes was a lot smaller but could a defender muscle him off the ball? Does he run/look interested? How much did Austin cost Southampton? Runs more than Benteke. Do not want to see Benteke intents am again.
