After today's performance how anyone can doubt RLC wouldn't be an enormous talent and massively important if we could manage to sign him I do not know. He's a dream to watch. Must be a dream to play with too. Intelligent. Creative. Powerful. Stamina. Positional play is superb. I'd rather we spent £25 mill on him than a striker. He'd be in or around 10/15 goals and assists a season easy playing as much as zaha or Townsend. He frees up zaha to be the difference in a match so often it's great to see someone know he can assist the.l currently better and form player. Please sing his name more and you never know he may make up his mind on it and tell Chelsea he wants to go.

He is pure class and has bought into what the club is all about. He seems to really like it here. A lad from Lewisham playing for a club 10 minutes up the road. It mart be we can get him for another season with option to buy. He's like a Rolls Royce on the ball

People wanted his loan deal cancelled when he got injured. He was fantastic yesterday and I'm so glad we didn't. His wages would be affordable but it depends how much Chelsea want for him, if indeed they want to sell him.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

I'd be extremely surprised if Chelsea are looking to sell him this summer The only chance I can forsee is if Barkley turns it around, so that RLC is not getting regular first team football and he pushes for a move in January

He doesn’t fit the Conte way & if they get yet another manager in it’s unlikely he’d be in their plans as the big name coaches all seem to want to build their own team rather than work with what’s there. In a couple of recent interviews he’s said how much he loves being part of the team and playing regular football- that may be enough to consider a future away from Stamford Bridge. I doubt they would want to sell a potential England player who Chelsea fans are calling the next Ballack. If they did, I am not sure we could afford him. Our only hope is another season long loan.

If he wants to stay, is willing to say that to Chelsea and we offered £20m in the summer, we might just get him. Most Chelsea fans I know don't actually want him back. Worth £20m to us all day.

I just can't see us getting him. If Chelski do decide to sell, I'm sure that bigger clubs than us will be in for him. That alone may make sure that Chelski keep him. At least we got a decent loan out of them this time!

I think we can squeeze another loan out and that would be fantastic for us. What we need is a year where we prove we can be our best for an entire season and not pick a half. If you put any of the second half of Pulis's season, second half of Pardew's first season, the first half of Pardew's second season, second half of Allardyce's season or second half of Hodgson's season together you get a European challenger. The way to get players like Loftus-Cheek permanently in the team is to make him a central part of us finally putting together a full season of what we are capable of. If we finish in Europa League spot next year I guarantee that either 1. We can sign him or 2. He's been so good for us that Chelsea keep him but hundreds of other similar calibre midfielders all over Europe suddenly want to be part of Crystal Palace's European campaign. We must start dreaming big now after signing the likes of Cabaye, Benteke and Sakho in recent years but not fulfilling our potential because of silly mistakes at all levels.

We must start dreaming big now after signing the likes of Cabaye, Benteke and Sakho in recent years but not fulfilling our potential because of silly mistakes at all levels. Admire the ambition but I’d suggest it all depends on the situation with Wilf. We have a manager who encourages us to play the right way most of the time, which is the fundamental basis to long term results, but I’m not so sure our squad is anywhere near as good as we think it is at times. I still think we are somewhat of a one man team and the stats supporting that are pretty emphatic. We may have a few other high quality and invaluable members of the team (Luka, Tomkins etc.) but are they enough to push for Europe? I’m not so sure. Burnley I think are a one off to reach Europe with a “hard work” style of football alone and I’d be gobsmacked if they got anywhere close to it again next season, without a quite big reshuffle of players and the way they play. If Wilf wants to go (and I’m actually not so sure he does), we essentially shouldn’t stand in his way. It would seem a bit hollow for the fans to supposedly worship him down to the ground but attempt to put a halt in his desire to test himself at the very top, especially after all he’s given to the club. If he ends up going, the recruitment process is then absolutely vital to get right. We’re replacing a game changer, so you’d hope that DF and the rest of the scouting team have left no stone unturned for replacements if the worst case scenario happens. Not overly convinced by Freedman so far, I have to say, and one would assume this is the window where he really earns his salt. Think there are many reasons to be positive and there is no reason with a competent transfer window & Roy steadily improving us, we can’t achieve some form of stability next season. But I’d suggest, as a footballing team, we’re still quite a way off being contenders for Europe just yet. Although, as I’ve said to many non Palace friends, Roy is by far a better manager than any of the British ones we’ve had over the last few years. More progressive and tactically astute than Pulis, Pardew, Allardyce, Warnock & Holloway by some distance and I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how he gets us to play on our day. COYP

According to the BBC Chelsea want £10 million for a player who has just eleven minutes of premier league football. If that is correct how much do you think they will want for RLC, not £20 mil that's for sure.

The reality is that we’d have to blow the entire budget and perhaps sell benteke to help pay How about another loan or buy him for ten mil but they get first refusal for same price in two years, or less even to make it a deal worth having for them
