would like your opinion whether you think the word, "Pardewed" will ever enter the Oxford dictionary, under the meaning, "to take a football player and turn him from Maradona to large doner with fries, over the course of a football season".

Like he did with Bolasie and Zaha you mean?

Not sure if you are agreeing with me and being ironic or god forbid you actually think that he was the inspiration behind Zaha and Bolasie's ability. One thing for sure, Wilf is far better this season than he was under Pardew.

Good luck Pardew.

Hope you take WBA on a merry dance all the way down to the Championship.

PL season covers 38 games for each club.
In his last 38 games as a PL manager he won just 6 of those games.
Did WBA quiz him about this ?
Pardew claims he was harshly treated after winning just 6 of his previous 38 games !

Thanks Willo, I had a feeling his end of tenure game stats were not particularly great. I know Andros's father may or may not have slated Pardew in a tweet but I do think he has a point that managers on the moneygoround do appear to pop up time and time again despite poor history. Moyes and Pardew spring immediately to mind in this respect.

Very interesting statistics, although Pards has always been a legend in his own mind!!

Interestingly enough, Moyes last 38 games as a PL manager have also only resulted in 6 wins.
But most of those games were at Sunderland !

Well there you have it. There must be a lot of managers in the Championship and below who are thinking, "Pardew, Moyes, I could do better then that" and my guess is they wouldn't be far wrong.

Wilf doesn't agree with you as he gives Pardew a lot of credit for improving him as a player.

He might be good at putting an arm around players and talking the talk. But 6 wins in 38 matches is not walking the walk and its a results based business. I've got nothing against him personally, I just don't believe he's a good manager.
