Absolute tosh Willo.
If we go away and play like that we'll end the game with 9 men. Also attacking Davis as Rudi suggested would result in a red card for Palace. We all know this.
The worst tackle on Wilf was by Calvert Lewin who cut him in half in front of the Arthur and got a talking to for his sins. Davis must have committed 6 fouls in 10 minutes, yet he had to commit a red card offence to get a yellow.
Yes we made mistakes, but any sort of competent reffing performance and we win.

You cannot blame the referee for the fact that Speroni should have kicked the ball up field, that Dann shouldn't have been disposseed so easily and that Benteke couldn't get his shot on target when well placed.

I understand the concerns raised about the referee's performance and of course it will all be analysed forensically as per the normal procedure.

But you can blame him for the following:

- Penalty awarded for a dive
- Niasse not booked for said dive
- Penalty not awarded for Cabaye shove in the chest
- Player not booked for above
- Several yellow card offences by Niasse ignored
- Several yellow card offences by Davis ignored
- Advantage not played when Palace player through on goal
- Throw-in retaken for no reason when Everton failed to be ready for it
- Total failure to protect Wilf and Townsend from unfair challenges by various players

I also pointed out that with a proper ref Niasse wouldn't have been around to profit from whoever's mistake it was.

I'mm sorry Willo but you can blame the referee because without his ridiculous decision to give a penalty for a blatant dive we would still have won 2-1 even with Speroni's howler.

I continue to be touched by your trusting faith in this procedure. Assuming it exists at all, that is.

Once again deliberately missing the point!! If the ref hadnt given the penalty we probably wouldnt be blaming him for the other stuff BUT he did give a NON penalty because he cheated, he gave us 2 yellows for 9 fouls and them 3 yellows for 27 fouls because he cheated.. how else do you explain it? It was deliberate and calculated. Do you honestly really honestly believe that Wilf would have been given that penalty Willo? Heres a clue, NO he would have been booked for the DIVE!!

We know he wouldn't have been given such a penalty because the same ref did indeed turn down a very clear penalty decision for a foul on him later in the game.

I don't accept for one minute that he "Cheated". He gave what he felt was the correct decision based on what he saw from his angle.

As for all the rest concerning Zaha this is all speculation with no concrete evidence to go on as it is all hypothetical.

That's absolutely NO help to Palace though.

Should have gone to Specsavers then........he was in the perfect position to see what everyone else did.

I haven't seen any replay of that and I'd like to just to compare.
Also seen nothing of the assault on RLC by Davis. Strange as Cheek is flavour of the month and it is well worth looking into IMO.
