At the end of the day Parish has chosen to get really involved in choosing our players.
Look where we are.
Say no more

In your opinion, is he not also the catalyst of the survival of the club, our promotion to the Premier League, our second FA Cup final appearance, and our five years of Premier League football?

Or is that due to something else, and only the bad stuff is down to him?

That is correct but that was then and this is now and when you repeat your mistakes or keep taking chances that'll one day go BANG, well there's the problem.

If the obvious choice of manager has a klaxon going off above his head or we have our squad ready as per Pardew's best start then all is marvellous. If not then I don't know if it's all his choice or people just agree with him or he doesn't listen but don't you think some of these things would be amazing to see footage of when they're fought up?

Best mates with some as well which isn't best positioning with managers coming and going.

Was he behind giving Speroni and Delaney new deals?

Ian Wright is a Judas who supports Palace when it suits him. He celebrated when he sent us down, claims to also support Milwall among other things. Its ok though becuase he is Parish mate. Where would Mark Bright be if not for SP? Probably in the dole que.

Again, what exactly has Wrighty done?
It's well known he supported Millwall as a kid.
It's also well known he has a soft spot for us cos we gave him his big break and boy did he take that opportunity well.
It's well known he's a big Gunners fan cos of the years he spent there. He's not exactly hiding his feelings is he?
He celebrated scoring, not sending us down. It was his job and he had every right, especially with all the abuse being sung at him, but I suppose you agree with the not celebrating against your old team bulls*** that has nauseatingly encroached into our game. Must not upset the little darlings must we?
As for Brighty, as far as I know he's a friend of Parish, hardly a hate crime is it?

I would be interested to know how much influence Bright has though - does anyone actually know?

Whatever it is at least the guy has played football at a professional level. Parish was probably selling conkers in the Junior School playground when others were using jumpers for goalposts and having a kick a round. He loves his football does our Steve as a spectator but it is obvious he has never played it at any sort of competitive level even school. He can't see the bleedin' obvious let alone the subtle when it comes to many a bad transfer.

We must have brought in 40 players or more since 2012. How many have done reasonably well? 10 maybe? How many have been disappointing? A ridiculous amount.

No no no. He's right, we're wrong.

Campbell. What a fantastic guy. Should've kept him and we'd be alright. (A week after the arrogant tweets Benteke wouldn't or might not get injured)

Delaney. Must keep him, knowing he's eyeing up Sakho.

What do we all know? Been lucky every time before. Gonna keep happening, ain't it? Injuries never relegating us. Of course they don't cost more in the long run. It's our imagination. Escape artists available to save us after every predictable c0ck up.

Pardew's project failed only months ago. Why can't it work now? It does in advertising production, why not football? So what about the opposition?

In short there's no acceptance or appreciation that what he thinks or decides may not be the case/happen when in reality it's often fingers crossed.

Are you suggesting it is Parish who has been solely responsible for selecting players to sign and then telling his managers who he intends to sign ? Has he been 'Chief Scout' as well ? Have managers had no say in who comes in ? Have the scouting/recruitment departments not played a part ?

It is interesting that at other clubs, it is the manager who is pilloried when signings don't work out yet at our club it is Parish who comes in for vituperation.

To be honest I don't care who signs the players and who has input into the team ... could be the groundsman for all I care.
On paper the the players we have should have done well and got us some points, scored some goals and generally looked like a team .. they haven't so I am gonna blame the players for us being in the mire.

But to go into the season with one striker, who ends up getting injured, who's fault is that?
