High jinks mainly, impersonating Spider-Man , That kind of thing, we all think we’re funny when we’re young, regarding the lady receiving free drinks ,that wouldn’t be the marvellous Minnie Rutter

Croydon was a great place in the nineties, I loved it, if you were part of the alternative crowd at the time it was like a little village where everybody knew each other. Gigs at the Cartoon. Got thrown out of the Rose and Crown (the upstairs room was great) for being covered in flour (trying to be Fields of the Nephilim) I worked at the Ship for two three years and Kevin and Barbara were the greatest landlord and landlady that have ever existed (if anyone knows where they are now I'd love to know). Worked at the Dog and Bull for a bit which was the best Young's pub ever. Assistant manager at the Rileys, which was s***, but Ray was nice. Yeah I was well happy there.
