Yes proud before I get all the crap about change and how good it could be.
But I think labour had a chance just prior to electing that silly ed Milliband by having dopey voting rules.
I still cannot work out why his brother David wasn't put in charge.
Maybe he was too right for the left.
Off point I know sorry

How anyone can be ''proud'' of supporting any particular party when things have grown continually worse for the past 30yrs or so baffles me.

Oh sorry
Because I'm happy with my lot it's wrong is it.
I'm no rich dude
I work
Pay tax
Have kids ( grown up)
I don't want to have anything I don't deserve or early.
Also haven't had a proper holiday for seven years
But I don't want sympathy or handouts
Or people preaching how bad it's been getting for 30 years.
I know I will get my rewards.
Patience my friend patience
My parents fortunately still alive have told me about hard times
Believe me scary isn't in it.
Tory and proud

Take credit for your own attributes and successes mate, since they are yours - patience, having kids etc.. unless Boris Johnson personally guided your todger into your missus.

I don't think people should become overly affiliated with any political party or batch of prepackaged beliefs really. When people go too far down that road their relevance matches that of a parrot.

I am really mostly only proud of things I've done of achieved in life, and that of relatives and friends (mostly that they make me proud of being related to them or their friend). That said I get all warm and fuzzy when I see a spitffire in flight... I'm complicated lime that

Kermit
French maybe !!!!
Anyhow the way I see it the Tory party hasn't really changed its core beliefs in my life time. 50 ok
Help people that help themselves effort in generally means rewards out.
Slightly I may add leaning one way or the other but there or there abouts.
At present this labour party have gone so left they are way out there.
Compare it to Blairs labour.
So different it's untrue
The moderate labour MPs have been well and truly shoved aside.
So my Tory and proud is because I believe in their mantra.

I agree. I think problems begin where people align their identity too closely to the achievements or outlook of others. Be yourself.
