If I was ladapo I would be knocking down Roy's office door pleading to play sat, and working my arse off in training this week. Man U at old Trafford 75k people, in the premier league, doesn't get much better than that! Hope he starts and runs his bollocks off!

Needy and desperate rarely works, in any circumstances; working hard may, provided he's good enough.

Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing!

And if Mr H deems him not good enough I would suggest that he ask to be sold in the next window

I expect Sako to start, and once the game is lost then Freddie will be given a run out for the last 30 mins or so.

He won't ask for a move, plus another club will need to sign him and offer him a contract.

Does that invole sending a fax? We don't seem to be very good at that sort of thing.

As I've said before on here, saw both Vardy & Ladapo play at non-league level & if you'd asked me which would make it I would not have said Vardy. It's weird how some of them make it and others don't but guess it depends on what suits them as players.

I think it was only about two years between Smalling struggling to hold a place in the Maidstone team to him playing for Manure in the Champions League.

We could do worse than give the lad a chance.

An interesting point that you make as I checked on Harry Kane's goalscoring at lower levels and weirdly he scores at a higher rate now than he did in the lower leagues.

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

He’s out of contract

As Danny Butterfield wheeled away, arms aloft in celebration of his third goal – an expression of delight and astonishment on his face – a man seated beside me in the stands turned to his young son and told him that he would remember this moment for the rest of his life. I will too.

That would be typical if he gets his chance, proves to be the next Vardy and then refuses to sign a new contract and leaves.

Vardy has scored goals wherever he has been. Ladapo has not.

However that doesn't mean he won't. Hears hoping he's the next Ian Wright or we are "fcuked".

Vardy has only scored goals after a run in the side. If you look at his Championship and EPL records he really struggled in the first season of each.

Championship- played 26 scored 4
EPL - played 34 scored 5

Those are actually worse stats than Dwight Gayle.

The only way we'll ever know is if he gets a run of games and having seen him play I reckon we'd not currently be goalless if he'd been a starter all season. We might not be any better off but I'm pretty sure he'd have converted at least one of the chances we've created.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

For today's game I'd certainly put in a fit, athletic youngster who's keen to impress and defend from the front over an unfit lump like Sako or a proven non-goalscoring CF like Campbell.

Sako was shocking when he came on against Saints and blew up badly in the league cup.
