Interesting to note that Tosin's Turkish club have slapped a £25 m price on him on account of his goals scored.

Yet another huge Parish mistake last window where apparently we could have secured the player for some £15m,payable over 6 months, but our messiah insisted on payment over 24 months and no compromise could be reached.

Dont slate Parish!! He's Golden Boy, cant put a foot wrong. Although he did run the club's price into the ground to get us on the cheap....

With someone like Carlton Cole I wonder if anyone in any football club's hierachy have considered the concept of: "Selling a Shirt."

The principal would be someone of Carlton's age and quality would play for us simply for the exposure he would achieve and the marketing opportunities that come with it.

He'd get on EA for a kick-off and his twitter feed, if he has one, would immediately increase its volume of visits, allowing him to cash-in by promoting brands to a wider audience.

It would probably be a tough concept, in its infancy, to sell to a player or agent, but the: "Sell the Seat" idea is not new to motorsport for example.

I don't think we can expect Carlton to pay to play, but an exchange of a squad number for the above marketing opportunities, would in my estimation, be fair.

Was it because you couldn't remember the theme tune to 'One Foot in the Grave'?

Despite the years I've spent on board the dodgy fair ground ride that is supporting CPFC, I can hardly believe that we are in such a sorry, pitiful state.

At least while we had Campbell in the squad, he was a back up striker.
Having released him without any new striker replacement signed as Parish concedes was muddled thinking and a move he regrets.
We are now in a very difficult place until Beneteke recovers as 7 days on,there has been no emergency striker signing and I am beginning to wonder if there ever will be.
